| John E. Lippl is an attorney and registered professional engineer. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He has worked as a project manager for major general contractors, as an attorney with several law firms and as general counsel for a contractor, before beginning his current practice focusing on the legal aspects of construction, engineering and architecture. He is a frequent lecturer at both legal and construction conferences. In his spare time, he proudly serves as an officer with the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps as a structural engineer on an anti-terrorism team. John also endeavors to restore his turn-of-the-century home, which was once occupied by Evelyn Nesbit, "the girl in the red velvet swing." | |||||||||
